Busy days; created a Galaxy !

Finding time to hook can be difficult when I'm dyeing each day.
Here is Galaxy with Majic Carpet Dyes. It's a spot dye.
It took 1 hr 30 mins.. @ 350 ˚ F to process these.
Gather up 1/2 yd wet wool in peaks and valleys, add 1/8th tsp. citric acid to each dye solution, pour in stripes or spots in a checkerboard pattern. Don’t mess around too much with the wool after you pour the dye on so you can get the stars in the dark sky effect.

GALAXY
1/2 tsp. Blue Violet
1/2 tsp. Turquoise
1/2 tsp. Bottle Green
1/2 tsp. Brilliant Green
1/2 tsp. Red Violet
1/2 tsp. Black

What all good hookers need

If I could give rug hookers only one piece of advice what do you think it would be ?

Make time for yourself ?

Keep connected to other hookers ?

Try new things ?

Imagination ?

Even though all these are very important the ultimate thing is know yourself and what you like.
Because if you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything !

I forgot an important thing

Yesterday my daughter reminded me of something I know works but I had forgotten. This was a timely reminder.

She said " Mom you have to think from the end."

To me this means instead instead of imagining how to get somewhere, I need to imagine already myself there ( at my goal ) and work my way back to where I am.

An old mare can always find its way home !! LOL

Here's a picture of true rug love !
